Thursday, June 3. 2010Cache-RecyclingIch habe in den letzten Wochen etwas erfahren und gelesen, von dem ich euch hier berichten möchte. Es geht um den Cache "Der letzte Spion aus der Kindercache-Serie" (GC1P9JB) ganz in der Nähe meiner alten Heimat. Ein liebevoll gestalteter Multi, den Evolva und ich zusammen im Sommer 2009 geplant, ausgearbeitet und versteckt hatten. Der Cache wurde nun deaktiviert, obwohl er völlig in Ordnung und funktionstüchtig war. Der Grund? Evolva will den Cache komplett demontieren und in gleicher Form in Lübeck aufbauen. Eine Note in den Logs sah wie folgt aus:   May 5by Evolva (230 found) Diesen Cache werde ich am Sonntag den 9. Mai 2010 deaktivieren und einsammeln da ich demnächst umziehe und diesen Cache an meinem neuen Wohnort neu legen werde. Wer ihn noch auf der Liste hat sollte ihn also dieses Wochenende machen. Mfg Evolva Und kurze Zeit später hieß es in den Logs:  May9 by Evolva (230 found) Diesen Cache werdet ihr bald in Lübeck finden. Wie soll das aber funktionieren? Jede Station des Caches ist so ausgelegt, dass aus einem Rätsel die nächsten Koordinaten ermittelt werden konnten. Mitunter fand man die Koordinaten auf einem Negativstreifen, in einem Vogelhaus eingearbeitet oder binär verschlüsselt. Somit müssten alle Stationen komplett neu gestaltet werden, da die alten Stationen mit ihren Koordinaten unbrauchbar werden. Nur die Bombe (siehe Bild) kann so bleiben, wie sie ist. Wird es ein neues Listing geben, oder sollen alle SoaM's abgeändert werden? Beides sehr arbeitsaufwendig! Wäre nicht eine neue Konzeption für einen neuen Multi eher angebracht, sodass die Cacher in unserer Region und im hohen Norden davon profitieren? Kann man einfach so eine Idee 1 zu 1 übernehmen? Nun ist der Cache inzwischen deaktiviert, der Evolva aber schon in Lübeck und der Multi-Cache liegt immer noch im Wald, genau so, wie wir ihn letztes Jahr zusammen versteckt hatten. Mal sehen, ob und wann die Dose tatsächlich eine neue Heimat findet. In den kommenden Tagen werde ich den Evolva noch einmal kontaktieren und nach den Plänen für diesen Cache fragen! Generell kann ich es nicht nachvollziehen, einen Cache abzubauen und an einer anderen Stelle zu recyceln. Eine Idee für einen Cache kann man doch mehrfach verarbeiten, aber müssen es denn auch die originalen Dosen sein? Ein Vorteil bringt die ganze Sache dennoch mit sich. Wenn man den Cache komplett mitnimmt, entfällt die Fernwartung, bzw. das Adoptieren! Aber stellt dies wirklich ein Problem dar, wenn der Cache bei der heimatlichen Familie liegt??? Trackbacks
